I thought I’d share with you all 5 accounts you should definitely be following on Instagram!Read More
…it certainly seems easy, there are hundreds of thousands, possibly even millions of social media accounts claiming to be influencers, their high following and masses of likes makes them an attractive advertising platform but with so much fraud going undetected on Instagram...Read More
Christmas is without a doubt my favourite time of the year. I love the run up, buying and wrapping the presents and treating people to cool presents.
When John Lewis got in touch to ask me if I wanted to treat a fellow blogger to some presents this Christmas, I jumped at the opportunity! I got paired up with the very lovely Becky, creator of English Mum, a blog full of travel, life hacks and recipes…if you’ve never checked out her work you definitely should!
John Lewis asked me to surprise Becky with some things I thought she might like - after a good bit of reading through her blog, I thought Becky seemed to like class, quality and convenience, things to make travelling a little bit easier. I am a big fan of a wash bag, so thought I would put together a wash bag full of goodies for Becky to get her hands on.
First up I gifted Becky a super chic wash bag to store all her lotions and potions in when she’s travelling. This white and rose gold Ted Baker bag jumped out at me, it’s simple but you know it’s going to be quality. I picked this up for £65 but it looks like it has now sold out, check this link to see if it comes back in stock!
When I'm on the move I am always thankful for some little travel bottles to chuck some face wash or shampoo in so I don’t have to lug massive bottles around with me. I thought Becky might like these and at £4.50 for two, I thought they were a total bargain! You can grab these here - they’re really worth it and they’re from MAC, which I believe is a pretty decent makeup brand!
If there’s one thing I know about Becky from checking her out online, it’s that she LOVES Liz Earle. It would have been wrong for me not to include something from her favourite brand in the gifts I sent her! The Winter Nourishment Gift comes with a little travel size face mask and a face cloth too, which is perfect for Becky’s travelling needs! It was only £8 so sold out almost instantly, however I would recommend the £15 Cleanse and Polish gift set that also comes with 2 Liz Earle facecloths!
I thought I’d get Becky some more mini products that would be perfect for her upcoming trip to The States, NUXE’s ‘The Essentials’ travel kit has all of their favourite products in a little travel bag. At £13.50 this little kit offers fantastic value for money - you can check this out here.
Girls love a festive nail, don’t they? As we now know, Becky loves Liz Earle, this ‘Pure Poetry’ red colour is a great buy at £8.50 and will add a bit of festivity to her look this December. You can check out the rest of the colours in the range here.
I hope Becky loves the Christmas picks I sent her. You might have missed Christmas but John Lewis have an epic sale on at the moment, don’t miss out - shop the sale here!

I am super excited to be writing this post. One of you bloody awesome readers recently nominated my little old blog for the 2015 UK Blog Awards, it’s a pretty big deal!
First off…who ever you are, a massive thanks to you, I believe it’s an awards that you can enter your own blog in to but honestly for me this whole thing I have going on is more rewarding than you’d ever believe and I’m not the sort of person to chase approval and chase rewards. Seriously, to be nominated for an award is more than I can fathom and the fact someone enjoys my ramblings enough to put me forward for an award, that’s truly humbling.
I do this because I genuinely love it, the experiences I’ve had, the people I’ve met all because I jot some thoughts down and post it on the internet, such a simple thing has had such a huge impact in my life to an extent I could never put in to words.
I just want to say thanks, thanks for the support - there’s so many truly awesome bloggers around that I don’t honestly think I can even compare myself to, but we all do different things and I think the support I’ve had from within the community has been epic. Thanks to you for reading, I’d still do this even if I had a few hundred readers, we’re thousands and thousands strong now and the audience is growing everyday, I just want to make content you’ll enjoy so your feedback is always the best I could wish for.
Also a huge thanks to all the brands I have worked with, heck I never thought I’d be recognised but I’m now working with global brands, working on sponsorship deals and I feel truly immersed in the industry.
So, I guess all that’s to say now is if you enjoy what I do, drop me a vote…you can do this by clicking here and entering a few deets, it’s pretty simple!
There’s nothing harder than buying for a woman, let’s face it lads buying clothes is THE most terrifying thing you could possibly set out to do. Christmas is all about cheer and there’s nothing worse than a mascara-stained face of your size 8 (soon to be ex) girlfriend holding up a size 18 jumper you bought ‘because she likes the oversized look’…that’s never going to end well!Read More
So, if you haven’t noticed from the amount of Apple adverts all over the blog, I have been working with Apple lately on some advertising and something else which I am pretty excited to tell you all about!Read More
If your a sneaker head like my very self then you’ve probably been checking for Adidas’ Yeezy 350 Boost black colourway since midnight…only to find out they weren't being dropped until 9am this morning.Read More
If there’s one high street shop that is the epitome of British, it’s got to be Marks & Spencer. The super-power retailer is changing its image bit-by-bit. I know they won’t mind me saying this but even just a couple of years back I would have thought of Marks & Spencer and automatically seen it as somewhere you go when you become a dad and need to start dressing like a 40-year-old businessman to be taken seriously.Read More
If you follow me on social media you’ll have noticed I quietly announced that I am set to launch my own range of shoes for the ultra-stylish man! I am so excited to have the opportunity to put my own style and flair in to a range of shoes that’ll be launching in just a couple of months…your feet will be super stylish this autumn!Read More
So I often get parcels and every single parcel makes me excited, however this one literally killed me with excitement. As you’ll know if you follow me on literally any social network, yesterday a very awesome box turned up that was, indeed the Apple Watch. Now I know the camp is divided, some people love it and other people have no taste (😏) but I literally own everything Apple and my wrist was feeling left out.Read More
This weekend I headed to London….and so it seems, half of the USA did, too. I was meant to have a cool PR meeting to do with this very website however it sadly got cancelled, don't you worry when a boy from The Shire is in the city, he knows how to have a good time. This blog post is sort of just a general chat, how I got around, where I stayed and what I recommend you go and have a look at if you’re in the city any time soon! FYI I am writing this on the train, let’s excuse any spelling error or nonsensical chatter…just for today!Read More
*Once a month there is a very exciting delivery at Chateau Squire, I am pretty sure I know the exact thud that GQ makes on the doormat (it’s sort of a plasticy thud if you were wondering). As something of a style God, a modest one of course, I love having a good flick through the style editorials, advertorials and even sometimes tutorials that laden the pages of possibly the world’s best men’s mag (FYI Esquire, you still hold a dear place in my heart. forever.)Read More
So I went away at the weekend and recorded a quick 'What's in my suitcase' vlog - the lighting is a bit poor but hopefully you'l forgive me and have a watch of my first ever vlog! Don't forget to head over to YouTube to subscribe.Read More
