The kind folks over at Burton reached out to me and asked me to pick something from their website recently. I noticed that the ever-dapper Calum Best has recently collaborated with Burton to release a range for late summer through Autumn, what better person to collab with than Calum, he is renowned for his awesome style and has a strong army of followers that always want to know what he's wearing, well…now you can wear his style!
I am all about a plaid shirt, I seriously have all the right attire to become a lumberjack. When I saw this bargain £25 shirt I knew that was exactly what I wanted. The collection is all about value and quality, you don’t have to pay through the nose for the products but what you get at the end is an on-trend garment that isn't going to fall apart on first use, it’s sort of a wardrobe essentials collection. The shirt itself is 100% cotton…polyester who...?! 😏
It’s a really nice lightweight shirt which is perfect for the end of the summer when it’s cooling off but you wouldn't exactly go chucking on your fully lined parka. The stock levels are getting pretty low which is understandable because the collection has been ridiculously popular. The shirt has wood-effect buttons and a button down collar, it’s the short of shirt that adds versatility to your wardrobe, wear it untucked, undone or like me just do the top button up for a really casual look…or if you’re headed out, tuck it in do it up and take the town.
In this look I teamed the shirt with a pair of very cool Police sunglasses, a plain white tee, a pair of skinny jeans which I cut off to shorts and a pair of Nike Roche sneakers. I opted for a really casual look but you truly can dress it up or down.
I’d definitely recommend checking out Calum Best at Burton, the collection is strong and if you’re looking to up your wardrobe game without melting your credit card, this range will seriously help you out! You can check out and buy the shirt here.
