You’ll know him as the cooky radio host and friend to the stars but recently Nick Grimshaw teamed up with the folks over at Topman to collaborate on a brand new clothing collection.
The 31 year old personality is known for his big quiff and unique style, something he’s brought bags of to his new Topman collection. When the collection was announced I immediately pictured some oversized, quirky print shirts, chelsea boots and super skinny denim. On discussing his collection, Grimmy said “Unless I wanted to wear it right away, we didn’t do it” a mantra that I think is really important…if you’re designing a clothing line it has to reflect your personality and the style you possess.
With bold prints and quality materials, I personally think the collection will appeal to a heck of a lot of people as more guys seem be happy to express through style now…look at me getting all philosophical! Here’s three of my favourite pieces from the collection…it was pretty hard to pick!
I personally really love (and want) this jumper - it’s October, it’s cold and this £50.00 knit will be perfect for keeping you warm on a grumpy autumn morning (we’ve all been there dude don’t worry…)
John Wayne ain’t got nothing on this jacket, though…this £200 fringe jacket may be headed towards the higher end of the jacket market but it’s got fringe so get over it and get your wallet out. It’s also made from a really good quality suede so I guess that’s also a reason you should buy it, maybe.
My third and final favourite piece from Nick’s collection is this tee - there’s definitely an animal theme resonating through the collection with different animal prints…and this…a t-shirt with the word Puppy on it of course. The graphic on this tee is actually based on Grimmy’s tattoo design he has dedicated to his first dog! You can get this for £25.
Overall I think it’s a cool collection, it’s unique and combines Nick’s cooky ideas with Topman’s fantastic quality…I really can’t sing their praises any more, you know I love Topman!
