Well, chapter 21 of my life has just come to a close and chapter 22 is just beginning…or as Will.i.am might say, ‘It’s my birthday, It’s my birthday, I’mma spend my money.'...Read More
If you checked out my last blog post you’ll know this is part 2 of a series of three blogs. I have teamed up with Topman for a series of three very cool and very different outfit shoots, all to celebrate the THIRD birthday of my blog! So crazy, can’t believe I have been blogging for three years now!
Today’s look is super casual, comfortable and very much the kind of look I am wearing all the time right now. I’m definitely not one of those bloggers that tries to look dapper 24/7, I am all about comfort, suits all day every day just aren't my thing!
First up is my new coat, I love this thing, it’s a hybrid between a smart coat and a bomber jacket. This longline bomber might just be my new favourite autumnal wardrobe essential, it is a wool blend so great for keeping you a bit warmer on those chilly autumn mornings. I think it looks really great, it’s got a great fit and works really well with casual and smart, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for a coat that can do it all! One of the best things is that it is currently on offer, down from £95 to £75…definitely worth taking advantage of! Check it out here.
Next up, for the past year or so, panel tees have been really popular. I love panel t-shirts but haven't been able to find ‘the one’ just yet, that was of course until Topman hit me up with this blue & white slim-fit tee. I wear it loads, and actually to share a little secret, after receiving it in the mail, I went out and bought it in other colours, too! It’s one of those great tees you can just chuck on under a jacket, definitely a wardrobe staple to use all year round! These panel tees are super cheap, too at just £12 each, check this one out here!
Jeans-wise, I opted for my trusty new stretch skinny jeans that I featured in the last blog post, these £38 black jeans have quickly found themselves a top space in my wardrobe. I love a black pair of jeans for everyday wear so these are great, plus they’re comfortable and don’t feel too tight whilst obviously still being well fit to your legs. You can check these out here!
When it comes to shoes, this time of year you want something you can trust, nothing canvas that’ll get wet and no unprotected suede that’ll get ruined. I opted for these black plimsol inspired shoes which are great for damp mornings as they’ll help to stop you getting wet socks (man that’s a gross feeling!), Topman have some great own-branded shoes at the minute, these sneaks are a real bargain too, you can bag these ones for £26, whilst they are a faux leather, they feel like pretty good quality and will last you for seasons to come! Take a look at them here.
This latest blog post has definitely been a long time in the making! If you missed it, my little old blog turned THREE just a couple of weeks back. My old friends at Topman asked if we could team up to celebrate an awesome three years of blogging, and also offer one of my fantastic readers a little gift by way of celebration!
We have teamed up on three different looks, each one is totally unique and this look is look number one! For look number 1 we wanted to achieve a retro-inspired college look.
I love autumn, fallen leaves and cosy weekends are an absolute must, and I love getting my jumpers out, too! The jumper I am wearing under my bomber jacket is just a really simple panel knit. It’s quite lightweight so perfect for early autumn but likewise, as the days get colder you can easily whack a plain tee on underneath for an extra layer of warmth. The white and grey on this jumper mean it’ll go with pretty much anything, I think it looks great with the bomber. It’s also a pretty popular one, it’s currently out of stock in all sizes so keep your eyes peeled here for if it gets restocked!
Next up let’s talk about the bomber, this is currently my favourite item of clothing, I am wearing it constantly because it is so warm and looks great, too. I picked up the Badged MA1 Bomber Jacket in the navy as I thought it went better with this look, but it is also available in khaki, too. The badged detailing adds a really retro look and the puffed out bomber styling not only means it is really warm for this time of year, but it also adds a bit more retro style to it. I think not only does this look great, but it’s really practical, too. It’s super lightweight to hold and is the perfect kind of thing to take for a continental getaway this autumn because it packs down quite small, too. It’s well worth checking out and is a real coop at £65, check it out here.
Now, if you’re an avid reader of my blog, you’ll know the only jeans I ever actually wear are the Topman spray-on skinny fit. This time around, though, we decided I would try a different fit, stretch skinny. I am always super skeptical but I knew I was in safe hands with Topman as I pretty much love most of the product they stock anyway. The Black Overdyed Stretch Skinny Jeans that I am wearing might just be my new favourite jeans, they are so comfortable and that little bit of stretch is great for when you’re sitting down, I have to say I am really impressed by them. I mainly wear black jeans so I would say these are a really good addition to my collection, especially as so many of my old comfy jeans are in desperate need of replacement!! These are available here for £38, for the price they are great quality and if they’re like my other Topman jeans, will last for absolutely years!
Finally the shoes. It’s been an autumn staple of mine for the past few years to have a good sturdy pair of boots, last year’s were from Office, and this year’s are a pair of suede Chelsea’s from Topman. I love everything about these boots, the cut isn't so high that your jeans get all bunched up which is never a good look, the fit is quite slim and comfortable on my foot and getting them on and off is a piece of cake. I’d recommend giving them a spray with some suede protector so you don't end up with scuffed grubby boots. I actually think these are great value at £55, I have paid more for boots in the past that have been much worse quality, I love the soft suede on these, check them out here.
Topman have some great stuff in their autumnal collections that are well worth checking out!

HAPPY BANK HOLIDAY!!!! 🎉
I don’t know about you guys but that extra lay in this weekend has worked wonders. I feel like a new man! So, the weather this Bank Holiday weekend has been phenom, so warm and super sunny! Summer feels like it’s on its way which gave me the opportunity to get out and shoot some new blog pics, I’ve taken a couple of weeks off just simply because I have a few projects being worked on which I’ll share with you soon and I needed to give them all my focus!
If you know a bit about style, you’ll know how crazy crazy popular neutral tones are right now. Beige, cream, khaki…loads of earthy tones and neutral shades are exactly what you want in your outfit, and one place that has them in abundance is Topman!
I picked up this cool neutral Sand Hoodie from Topman, it’s got a really nice slouchy fit and is perfect for this super-hot trend. Speaking of super-hot…you’ll stay super cool in this hoodie this spring summer season because it’s actually really thin and light! I was pretty surprised when I first put it on, as it seemed like a pretty substantial hoodie, not something I would tend to buy this time of year due to the warmer days!
I reckon this should be a piece you pack for your holidays, if it chills off in the evenings chuck this bad boy on, not only will it keep you warm, but it will also show off your killer tan. I picked this up for a pretty reasonable £25, which I really don’t think is too bad at all for such a key wardrobe piece! You can click here to check it out!
I didn't want to go too over board with the neutrals, hence pairing it with some black Topman spray on skinny jeans, which if you read my blog often, you’ll know these are all I wear! They’ve got so many awesome styles within the spray on skinny category, worth checking out here. I was also going to wear my Yeezy Oxford Tans but they looked a bit too matchy with the hoodie, and the whole thing just didn't really work. Instead I’ve got my khaki Nike Stefan Janoski sneakers on, which I wrote about a few weeks back, they’re seriously comfortable!
What’s your summer style staple? Let me know in the comments below! ✌🏼
I’M OFFICIALLY 21!!! Today is my Birthday and I thought what better way to celebrate than to blog about my new favourite thing…my Topman camel coat!
So, camel coats are pretty big business right now, everyone’s wearing them and I thought I would invest in my own. I headed straight for Topman, I knew exactly which coat I wanted and I was prepared to fight to the death for it…and I nearly had to.
There was only one in my size left in my local Topman store so I did the really mature thing of basically racing another guy to get the coat…I took home the coat, and a medal for 1st place nifty bastard 👊🏼
Camel coats are great for so many different style, whether super smart or ultra casual it just works so well. My coat has a bit of length which is great because it keeps you warm but not too warm, as you’d usually wear it open.
I decided to pair my coat with a red plaid shirt for a bit of colour, a white crew-neck tee - which I have to thank my man Oliver Cheshire for recommending when I had a chat with him last week, a pair of my signature black spray-on skinny jeans from Topman and some black zip suede boots…there’s a lot of black going on, I know!
It’s a great spring outfit and I am loving layering shirts, tees and coats right now - hopefully as the days get a bit warmer I can just wear the coat with a white crew tee. Topman actually have a huge range of camel coats to pick from, you can click here to see the full range or click here to check out my exact coat…it’s on offer for £50 right now so I would definitely recommend checking it out!!
Well, I’m off to go and wear party hats and eat copious amounts of cake…you’re only 21 once, right? 🎂🎉
So if you can’t tell by my bright red nose…winter has officially arrived. Snow is drifting its way across the country and temperatures are hitting the minuses…so what better time to go an photograph some jeans with the knees ripped out…
I bang on in every blog post about Topman’s spray-on skinny jeans because A) they are my favourites and B) I am hoping for some free pairs (JOKE, before anyone gets shitty with me…) - spray ons are my go-to, I think I look really weird in jeans that are baggy, I look like I'm trying to be a cool 90’s dude but clearly failed.
On browsing in my local Topman I came across a section of ripped knee spray-ons and I literally had no idea which ones to buy. I went for the black ones because I like black things to match my soul…plus they pretty much go with everything I wear in my winter wardrobe. They had some different blue shades in the same style which I did contemplate but I just didn't feel brave enough to move away from my staple black jeans.
Upon buying, I dropped a little Tweet to express my excitement…Topman swiftly replied insinuating these are definitely not for the current weather…clearly I was feeling brave (not drunk) and headed out to get some cool snaps in the chilly weather…the snow had literally just melted and I instantly regretted every choice I had made up to that point….a model’s life, eh! 😏
These are pretty much my new favourite jeans, I teamed them with a Pull & Bear denim shirt my winter coat from River Island and my Dune chelsea boots which I definitely need more of because even I’m starting to get bored of seeing them in every blog post I do 😬
These jeans are available right over here for £38...I paid £40 in store and now feel I've been robbed £2...
What better way to spend a lovely bank holiday weekend than to head for a walk? Yesterday I took a stroll and took the opportunity whilst it was dry to get a few pictures snapped. You can browse these in the gallery below.Read More
